The God Frequency

“Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care.” -Psalm 95:6-8

Have you ever thought about what kind of “frequency” heaven must have? I was doing a tutorial recently on the frequency rates of wireless devices. The information was fascinating! All these electro-magnetic waves traveling through the air that we can’t even see. There is so much in our world that is invisible. This is true in heaven, too.

Sometimes we get caught up in the worries of life. Sometimes someone angers us and we can’t shake it off. Sometimes we are caught up in the world’s pleasures. The state of our hearts can live at those frequencies. But, God invites us to transcend our emotional frequencies into heavenly frequencies – that of peace, love, and joy, and the Holy Spirit’s presence in our lives. I had a revelatory moment when I realized that it was possible to live in God’s presence all the time and feel Him, not just in church services or at special events. We just need to work on our worship to Him individually to invite more of His presence into our lives.

Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew 6, “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” This heavenly reality begins in the garden of our hearts. That is why the enemy wants nothing more to keep Christians content with the status quo, or so locked up in emotional bondage that they are rendered ineffective for the kingdom.
