Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, it saddens me that many think of me more as a judge than a loving Father. In reality, it is the enemy who accuses my sons and daughters when they fail. As for me, my forgiveness is instant when forgiveness is requested. There is total restoration, no matter how many failures (1 Jn 1:9). Son, I am merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin (Exodus 34:6-7). There can be no true love without righteousness and judgment, but my grace always covers transgression. I never turn away a humble heart. Please help others to know this about me.

So rend your heart, and not your garments; return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; and He relents from doing harm. Joel 2:13
