Listening To The Father’s Heart

Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, shame is one of the enemy’s destructive tools designed to reduce our relationship to mere performance. Shame wants to bring condemnation and convince you that when you fail, you are one big Failure. On the other hand, guilt is my Holy Spirit designed to gently tell you when you miss the mark so that you can correct your course. It is always redemptive in its nature and purpose. When you fail, forgiveness is one prayer away, because I am faithful to forgive. Shame wants to remind you of past failures and keep you in bondage to those memories. My grace of forgiveness sees your future, not your past. I always look toward what I desire for you; I see your potential and all I created you to be. So remove any weight placed upon you by the shame of your past. I do not condemn you. I love you. And I’m excited about your future.

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:1

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
