Listening To The Father’s Heart

Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, there are three ingredients to an active faith. First, you must receive the word in your spirit. Next, you must agree with it and incorporate it into your life. Finally, you must confess my word audibly with your voice to proclaim it to principalities and powers. Your faith then comes alive through my Son. “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God” (Heb 12:2). Son, remember how my daughter Mary became miraculously pregnant? That only happened when she embraced the word given to her – “Be it unto me according to your word.” My word is the seed inside you that grows into substance when you agree with it. Agreement with my word causes it to germinate. Son, true faith is believing my word, confessing it, and demonstrating that faith through your actions. “And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, ‘I believed and therefore I spoke,’ we also believe and therefore speak…” (2 Cor 4:13). There is power in the words you speak, son. Be aware of what you say and recognize that those words affect the spiritual domain of life.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
Proverbs 18:21

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Heb 11:6

Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her. Luke 1:38
