Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, the heart is always my one basis for evaluation. I look past the obvious in a person’s life and see the inner truths invisible to the human eye. You can be the greatest sinner, but if you give me your heart and allow my heart to connect with yours, I will bless your life. David made many mistakes. He committed some of the most horrible sins. But I did not turn away from him. He learned from his mistakes. He yielded his heart to me. Sometimes a heart can grow hard from the wounds inflicted by the enemy. A hardened, broken heart can become captive to wrong behavior. I sent my Son to heal the broken-hearted. Only my grace can heal the deep wounds. You are allowing me to do this in your life. Now, reach out to heal other hearts. You are one of my heart surgeons.

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7
