Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, I want to ask you a question today. What draws people to me? Do you imagine it is persuasion? Or perhaps proof of my existence? Maybe even a desire to do right? It is none of these. It is the power of my spirit alone, experienced in my sons and daughters that attract anyone to want to know me and my Son. I know that you learned this many years ago, but let me remind you. Do not depend on your own ingenuity to bring people to me. Continue to help others experience me by revealing my presence in and through you. And there is one more thing to add to this, son. Love. They will know you are mine by your love. Keep walking in power and in love. Much fruit will come from your life as you make this your priority.

And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power. 1 Corinthians 2:4
