Listening To The Father’s Heart
Son, you have wisely come to realize that I do not speak to all my kids in the same way. Each of my sons and daughters has been given unique gifts and ways of perceiving me. Some hear my voice through words and pictures. Some have dreams and visions. I speak to some through my word and in quiet moments. Others hear me through circumstances and through my prophets. If my children do not see this remarkable truth, they will begin comparing themselves to others, coveting particular gifts, even doubting their own abilities to hear my voice. Do not strive to hear my voice in your natural man, for I speak spirit to spirit. This is why many get frustrated. They are “trying” to hear, instead of abiding in me. You hear best through your spirit when you are relaxed and not striving to hear. Let me assure you that you know my voice when I speak to you.
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. John 10:27
