Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, I love to recount the times I have stood on behalf of my sons and daughters. Do you remember the parting of the Red Sea which allowed my people to escape to freedom? Moses and my children witnessed a great feat. But it was what I did afterwards and all through the night that I want to remind you of. I held back those waves until the last man, woman and child had crossed. Son, when darkness hangs over you, I am the one keeping back those things that could destroy you I am working even when you cannot see. At times, you may not recognize my intervention until after the most dangerous circumstances have passed. But my presence surrounds every situation of your life. I love working behind the scenes for my sons and daughters. Because I truly have a wonderful future for each of them.

So it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel. Thus it was a cloud and darkness to the one, and it gave light by night to the other, so that the one did not come near the other all that night. Exodus 14:20
