Listening to the Father’s Heart

Listening to the Father’s Heart

You are beginning to understand my true nature my son. So many view me by their own experiences and life wounds. They attribute things to me I would never put on my sons and daughters. How could a father want anything but good for his kids? That is my nature. Yes, there are times for correction. You wouldn’t want me to let you make a life-altering mistake, would you? Rarely do I step in, because of my commitment to allow you to choose. Your prayers do affect the influences that come into the lives of my sons and daughters, but ultimately they must choose. Sometimes it’s hard to watch their choices. Fear, when given into, has an amazing impact on my kids. It leads to all sorts of other challenges that simply didn’t have to be. You are getting better and better at trusting me with things you cannot understand. That is the hallmark of living as a son instead of an orphan.

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. 1 John 4:18
