Listening to the Father’s Heart
Son, one thing that saddens me is when my sons and daughters give up on those who are in bondage to the evil one. The enemy steals the destiny of many of my sons and daughters and makes them prisoners of war. You have keys to their jail cells. My Son took authority over the demon-possessed Gadarene, setting him free from his destructive lifestyle, then sending him home to his friends. His community had written him off, but my Son came to release him from his bondage. I have called you and my other sons and daughters to destroy the work of Satan just as my Son did. You have the keys to free many who are held in bondage. However, few love enough to stand in the gap to free others. When this happens, marriages are destroyed, children are hurt and destinies are killed. I am pleased that you are one who is willing to stand in the gap for others (Ezek. 22:30).
He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.1John 3:8
