Listening To The Father’s Heart

Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, when I give you a gift or a talent, it will always remain with you. I anoint you for the calling and assignments you are given. Your gift will operate even when you use it in the wrong way because of my concern for the welfare of my people; my intent is for them to receive through your gift. Remember when my son Moses struck the rock to get water for the Israelites? I had instructed him to speak to the rock. He was disobedient. But because my people needed water,I still allowed my power to operate through him. I took care of my people, but Moses himself paid a personal price for his disobedience. He was not allowed to complete his destiny and enter the Promised Land. There is always a cost to disobedience. Sometimes the fruit of disobedience has long term affects. Learn from this, my son. Abide in me always and use your gifts through my spirit.

For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. Romans 11:29

And Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock; and he said to them, “Hear now, you rebels! Must we bring water for you out of this rock?” Then Moses lifted hishand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank. Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.” Number s 20: 10-12
