Listening To The Father’s Heart

Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, I have placed you in a season of isolation for my purposes. I am making you an instrument for my use. I am preparing youto communicate my truths as a penetrating arrow to the souls of my sons and daughters. I know these times may be lonely, but I am doing a work in and through you that will build my kingdom. Rejoice in the fact that I have chosen you and I am using you in these ways. Sometimes I conceal my sons for a season to tenderly speak to them. Remember David in the Cave of Adullam, John on Patmos, Paul in Arabia? This was my doing. I turn messes into messages and messengers. I am using these times of solitude for the development of our relationship. Draw close to me, my son, and I will reveal myself to you (Jer 29:13). Instead of viewing time as something to overcome, why not embrace this special time with me.

And He has made My mouth like a sharp sword; In the shadow of His hand He has hidden Me, and made Me a polished shaft; In His quiver He has hidden Me.-Isaiah 49:2

“Therefore, behold, I will allure her, will bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfort to her. I will give her her vineyards from there, and the Valley of Achor as a door of hope; She shall sing there as in the days of her youth, as in the day when she came up from the land of Egypt. Hosea 2:14-15
