Listening To The Father’s Heart

Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, I know you at the deepest level of your soul. There is nothing I do not know about you. I know your feelings of disappointment. I know the sadness you experience on a regular basis. I know your heartaches. I will not let your grief overtake you. They will not be more than you can handle. My son Paul said it well when he said, “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make a way of escape, that you may be able to bear it” (1 Cor 10:13). Never forget, son, we are in this journey together. And my Son, seated at my side in heaven, is interceding for you.

I will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy, for You have considered my trouble; You have known my soul in adversities, and have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a wide place. Psalm 31:7-8

Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:14-16
