Listening to the Father’s Heart

Listening to the Father’s Heart

Son, I want you to learn from my son David. In some ways I see similarities in your life and his. David had some wounds early in his life. This was due to his being conceived in iniquity (Ps 51:5).It wasn’t his fault, but it created some issues that caused him great pain. He failed as a parent and made some poor choices because these wounds had not been healed. He always had a good heart. That is what I loved so much about him. His passion for me was always great. Whenever my sons have unresolved wounds, it translates into poor choices in life. There is a process I must take my sons and daughters through to heal these places. This can require severe failure in the natural first, in order to have the motivation to look inward. This is the process I have taken you through and now you are called to father others through their process. I want my sons and daughters to have whole hearts, not live with wounded hearts that must be medicated to cope with life. I am the great healer of hearts.

And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, “I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.” Acts 13:22
