Listening to the Father’s Heart

Listening to the Father’s Heart

Son, the current trial you face is going to be used to accomplish such a beautiful work in you. No, I did not bring this upon you. The enemy has sought to sift you. But I am always one step ahead of his schemes. The greater the calamity he brings, the greater the glory I get just to show him how much I turn his activities into my ultimate purposes for my glory. I am the redeemer God. My servant Paul underwent extraordinary pain and suffering for my name. Yet, he received a level of revelation that few of my sons ever get. He actually thanked me for the suffering because of the fruit that came from his life. You have not suffered to this degree, but you have experienced a great deal of emotional pain in your life. I am using that. You have become a sweet smelling fragrance to many of my sons and daughters. Your life allows others to have the courage to move forward in their journey toward me. You, too, will one day be able to thank me for the cross.

Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong. 2 Cor 12:10
