Listening to the Father’s Heart

Listening to the Father’s Heart

Son, my kingdom operates differently from the world you live in when it comes to provision. The world sweats and toils for their provision. But I tell you that when you seek me and my righteousness, all things will be provided to you (Mt 6:33). In my kingdom, provision comes as a result of your obedience, not your sweat and toil. In my kingdom, you rely on me as your source. Sure, I require you to work, but your work is not your provider; I am your provider. In my kingdom sometimes you will receive less than what you think you deserve. Other times you will receive more than you deserve. Your job is always to follow and obey. My job is to meet your needs and bless your obedience.

I have given you a land for which you did not labor, and cities you did not build, and you dwell in them; you eat of the vineyards and olive groves which you did not plant. Josh 24:13

Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows; for so He gives His beloved sleep. Ps 127:1-2
