Listening To The Father’s Heart

Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, rarely do I extricate my sons and daughters from the difficult things in life. I more often choose to walk silently along side. When my son Paul was beaten and stoned almost to death, I did not send my angels to deliver him. When he was shipwrecked I did not send another boat to pick him up. When John the Baptist was beheaded, I did not send my angel to stop it from happening. And when my own Son went to the cross for your benefit, I did not stop the nails from being put through his hands on that cross for you. There are things in your life that will be difficult to reconcile with a Father whose nature is love. Here is the crossroads of faith for you and many others. Can you put those questions aside for a little while and trust me with the things that cannot adequately be answered right now? For now, my son, I ask you to trust me to be with you in the midst of your trial instead of delivering you from it.

Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him. Luke 22:43

“Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” Daniel 3:25
