Listening To The Father’s Heart

Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, there are times I instruct my sons and daughters to do things that confront the natural laws they have come to live by. These are times to move to another dimension in your relationship with me. I told Moses to speak to the rock to get water; I told Elijah to call down fire from heaven to demonstrate my power to the prophets of Baal; I told Peter to come out of the boat and walk on water; I told the disciples to feed the 5,000 when there was no food. There are times when I desire you to move beyond the natural to accomplish my purposes and create new levels of faith among those watching you. Such was the life of my son, Paul: “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God” (1 Cor 2:4-5). What I tell you to do may seem foolish, just as Joshua felt foolish walking around Jericho 7 times. Be aware that I will confront your intellect to test your faith and obedience to me.

And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. Acts 5:12

But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”Matthew 19:26
