Listening To The Father’s Heart

Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, I sent my own Son to earth for an assignment no one but me understood. From everyone’s perception but mine, the outcome of his life was a disaster. The disciples’ hearts were broken and they each died tragically for their faith in my Son. However, his life accomplished my purpose. The call I place upon a life is never easily understood from the human perspective, because my ways are rarely man’s ways. When you begin to rest in knowing I will accomplish my purposes in you, you will no longer be driven to understand everything I direct you to. The “why” question will be on your mind less and less.Asking the “why” question reveals a victim mentality. Instead, you must simply ask “What does this mean and what do you require of me?” Remember, son, there is always danger in living for a purpose of your own instead of living for the complete purpose I have for you. Allow my plans to be fully accomplished in you. Trust the outcomes to me, my son.

Then He took the twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be accomplished. But they understood none of these things; this saying was hidden from them, and they did not know the things which were spoken. Luke 18:31, 34

For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD. Isaiah 55.8
