Listening To The Father’s Heart

Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, this life will have moments of great challenge that will tempt you to despair. These times are designed to bring you to the end of yourself that you may experience my grace in ways you never thought possible. I don’t always deliver my sons from the fires of adversity, but I am always there in your midst. There will be times you will despair even of life itself. You are living in a war zone. My adversary desires to kill you and your destiny. The thief does not come except to steal, to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly (Jn 10:10). So, my son, do not be surprised that these times come upon you (I Peter 4:12). But be encouraged that I am always with you. I can give you reasons for hope even in the midst of the greatest challenges.

For we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, of our trouble which came to us in Asia: that we were burdened beyond measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life. Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead, who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us. 2 Corinthians 1:8-10

“Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”Dan 3:25
