Listening To The Father’s Heart
Son, I make even the most bitter things in life sweet. Yes, some things are very difficult in your life and tough to understand. Some of those things can be attributed to the evil one, but others come from my own pruning hand. You have learned that I only prune my choicest vines, those that have borne fruit before. I desire you to bear more fruit for my kingdom. I never prune dead branches, only live ones. You are very much alive in me. I am working in you to complete my purposes, and I will finish the work I have begun. Your inheritance will be great (Col 3:23). Whenever you get discouraged, remember these words. You will see that even the bitterest things will become sweet in my hands.
