Son, the degree of the depth and width of your identification with my Son’s cross is the degree of my glory and joy you will experience. It is a kind of joy you have not known. However, when you enter this “Holy of Holies” place of communion, you will experience it with me. Few of my sons and daughters are willing to embrace this level of the cross. They choose the world’s anesthesia of the heart, keeping them in the outer court of my presence. You have chosen the better part. I am proud that you are intentionally pressing into this place with me. I love you, son.
“Rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.” 1Peter 4:13
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Gal 2:20
