Listening to the Father’s Heart

Listening to the Father’s Heart

Son, as a leader you will experience a level of adversity that is greater because of your role as a priest called to intercede and identify with those you are to serve. You will feel the weight of those you are to serve. You are to identify with their sin and their struggles. What would normally be a light affliction will be heavy because of your apostolic mantle to stand in their place. Do you remember when my son Moses stood in the place of Israel when they worshipped the golden calf? He stood in their place and was even willing to have his name blotted out to prevent me from killing them for their sin. My sons can never pay for someone else’s sin. Only my Son is called to do this. But, you are called to intercede on their behalf. My son Paul understood this. You, too, are called to do this. Many will enter the road to their destiny because of your willingness to do this on their behalf. It is in this hour of suffering you will have the profoundest sense of my Son’s love.

I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church. Colossians 1:24
