Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, I know these days it often seems like you are living a slow drip of a life. The isolation and silence feels as if I have left you alone. But that is simply not true. There is an appointed time for all things to come together. Like Abraham, you too must persevere through this season of waiting and trusting. You will understand later the work I am doing in you and others. There is a divine alignment that must take place and only I know when that happens. Trust me when I say I am working on your behalf in ways you cannot see, understand or appreciate right now. Abraham went through the same temptations as you. I gave him a promise, but it was many years before it was fulfilled. He faltered at times, but he ultimately succeeded. So will you. The greater the time of waiting, the greater impact I will make through your life. There is an authority that comes with anyone who chooses to trust me in the dark places. It is rare that I find a son or daughter willing to wait for my perfect timing. Accept my grace for this season, my son. You will not regret it.

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven. Eccl 3:1.
