Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, whenever there is sin in a person, a city or a nation, there is an unresolved “I owe you” that requires payment. Your adversary knows this. He knows that he is legally entitled to attack when sin remains unconfessed. Sodom and Gomorrah were cities of such iniquity that the earth literally cried out against them. “The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great because their sin is very grave” (Gen 18:20). This principle holds true for my sons and daughters as well. You cannot harbor sin and avoid consequences. What is done in darkness will be brought into the light. My Son explained that darkness and light cannot coexist. Even a little darkness can affect the entire soul. “But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” (Mt 6:23). Son, I am the light of the world. Allow my light to shine in every corner of your soul. I desire always to cleanse and bless your life.

And the Lord said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave, I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry against it that has come to Me; and if not, I will know.” Genesis 18:20-21
