Listening To The Father’s Heart

Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, sometimes I hide my sons away for a season in order to hone and shape their words into a sword in my hand. The hidden place is a place of purifying. I purpose to polish and refine you until you become like an arrow on my bow, able to penetrate dark places of the soul and heart.

Hidden places are where I turn messes into messages and messengers, like I did with David in the Cave of Adullam. It was there my son wrote three of my Psalms. I had to set him aside for a season to do my deeper work.

Your words become my words to accomplish what I desire. “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (Isa 55:11).”For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (Heb 4:12). Keep seeking me and resting in me. Let me do this work in you.

And He has made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of His hand He has hidden me, and made me a polished shaft; in His quiver He has hidden me. Isaiah 49:2

He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer to the Lord, an offering in righteousness. Malachi 3:3
