Listening To The Father’s Heart

Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, I want to remind you of my son Paul, and what I did through his life. He persecuted those in my early church, believing them to be the enemies of Judaism. His dedication was fervent, yet I was able to change his heart. Remember, there’s no one so lost that I cannot bring them to live for me. Paul was once an instrument of the enemy, but I was able to redeem his life. “Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ” (Phil 3:8). His life was transformed by my Son. You, too, have been transformed. What was once valuable to you no longer holds that same value. It’s all about loving me more and more and the world less and less. I am the only one who can change a heart so dramatically. I know you desire more of me. As you seek me with a whole heart, you will find me.

And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. 1 John 2:15-17
