Listening To The Father’s Heart

Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, I am a Father who seeks a return on my investments. I understand business. I am the Father of all creation, innovation, entrepreneurship and financial blessing. I created work and commerce. I designed the laws of wealth creation and I desire you to model my nature (Dt 8:18). That is why I expect you to buy and trade and to use the skills and abilities I entrust to you to build my kingdom and provide for your family. I desire multiplication, not safety. I desire faith, which often requires risk on your part. Sometimes faith is spelled RISK. I value you playing the game more than winning the game. Failure is better than living too safe. Remember, Peter was my only disciple who got out of the boat when my Son invited him onto the water. What was worse? Failing, or refusing to get out of the boat? Step out of the boat and let me meet you where you are.

Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, “Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.” His lord said to him, “Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.” Matthew 25:16, 20-21
