Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, my sons and daughters must learn to move in a whole new dimension with me if they are going to see the world change its current course. You are called to love me with all your heart and soul, and to love others as yourself. This means loving those who do not believe or live the way you do, those who are caught in the web of a confused sexual identity, and even those who push you to conform to their liberal worldview. Do you know how much I love these sons and daughters? I do want you to share my good news with them, but even more importantly, I want you to love them. Until they know you accept them without conditions, you will be ineffective. Remember my Son’s conversation with the Samaritan woman? Wayward children want to know you love them; unless that is clear, they are not interested in hearing what you believe. It’s the love that will draw them in, and they will want to know the source of that love. You don’t need to remind them of their sin. That is my responsibility. Your job is to wholeheartedly love every person I bring across your path.

This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister. 1 John 3:10

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 1 John 4:7
