Listening To The Father’s Heart

Listening To The Father’s Heart

Dear son, do you understand that the loss of comforts and privileges in this life can strengthen and enable you to become broken bread for others? Like my Son, you will experience tribulation in this lifetime, but I have given you my grace to overcome. You will not be given more than you can handle (1 Cor 10:13). I allow all my sons and daughters to experience times of sorrow to identify with those who also have sorrow (2 Cor 1:4). I don’t just dress my soldiers outwardly to look the part; I develop them inwardly through difficult assignments until they are battle ready. Remember, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” (Jn 16:33). My son Paul understood this when he shared with his brothers, “…strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, ‘We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God’” (Acts 14:22). Soldiers can only be made in battle, not in times of peace, but in war. Son, this accounts for your situation. I am uncovering your gifts and causing them to grow. I am developing the qualities of a veteran soldier in you by shoving you into the heat of battle. Keep trusting. Keep fighting the good fight. I am with you.

Blessed be the Lord my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle. Psalms 144:1

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
