Listening To The Father’s Heart

Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, there are two types of people when it comes to how my sons and daughters relate to me. I considered Moses my friend. I spoke to him face to face (Ex 33:11). However, the Israelites he was leading only knew my acts. They related to me from a distance. They heard of my ways but refused to seek me for themselves. Many still do the same today. They worship me one time a week and are satisfied to hear about me, but do not experience the reality of a relationship with me through my Son (Jer 9:23). That is not my desire for you. I want relationship with each of my sons and daughters. I sent Jesus so that this could happen. My son Paul deeply desired this kind of fellowship. He wrote “…that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death…”(Phil 3:10). Thank you, son, for making time for us. I hear your prayers in the morning. Thank you for bringing your cares to me all throughout your day. I hear your prayers at the stoplights. I hear your prayers during your walks. I’m with you even on the golf course. Continue to pray without ceasing, son. Prayer and fellowship with me is a lifestyle, not an event.

For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; he shall set me high upon a rock. Psalms 27:5

When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.” Psalms 27:8
