Listening to the Father’s Heart
Many of my sons and daughters fail to recognize the spiritual battle that takes place over their lives every day. There are unseen forces that seek to make you think a thought, make a decision or think negatively toward me. One thing you should do whenever a thought enters your mind is ask yourself, “Who said that?” If the words are not consistent with my word, you know they are from the enemy. The enemy desires to destroy you. But I am protecting you. In fact, no weapon formed against you shall succeed. You do play a role in this though. You must cast down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of me, and bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of my Son (2 Cor 10:5-6). Never forget that you have principalities operating around you. As long as you abide in me and my Son, you will be shielded from their attacks. I am far more powerful. And that power resides in you.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12
No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. Isa 54:17
