Listening To The Father’s Heart

Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, there is no lack with me. No matter where you may find yourself, I will be in your midst. I take great delight in working through the most desperate situations. I could have come to earth in strength; I chose to come in weakness. I have all power; I chose to withhold my power. I could rescue my sons and daughters from every adversity; I permit adversity to develop character and trust. Even my Son learned obedience from the things he suffered (Heb 5: 8). So too, my son, you are being trained by the hardships you are overcoming. Embrace these situations and let me reveal my strength in your weakness, just as my son Paul had to do. I literally create streams in the midst of the parched and desolate places.

Then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb sing. For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert. The parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water; in the habitation of jackals, where each lay, there shall be grass with reeds and rushes. Isaiah 35:6-7

For thus says the LORD: ‘You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you, your cattle, and your animals may drink.’ And this is a simple matter in the sight of the LORD; He will also deliver the Moabites into your hand. 2 Kings 3:17-18

I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. I Corinthians 2:3
