Listening To The Father’s Heart

Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, sometimes life throws you what feels like a knockout punch. You can feel like life is not worth living. I am sure my son Moses felt that way when he made the grievous decision to kill an Egyptian in response to the brutalities committed by Pharaoh against his people. Moses responded just as the Egyptians did to situations they did not like–with force, even murder. And afterwards, he had to flee to Midian to escape Pharaoh. He lived with that failure for 40 years. I had to be silent during that time. But in time, look what I brought about from that situation. I redeemed Moses’ life and made his entire family my change agents to deliver my people. I literally birthed a nation through the Israelites’ hardships. I did similar things in the lives of David, Peter, Daniel and Paul. Establishing something that huge is sometimes like passing through the eye of a needle. Never count me out son. I can turn the greatest disasters into the greatest opportunities.

When Pharaoh heard of this matter, he sought to kill Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh and dwelt in the land of Midian; and he sat down by a well. Exodus 2:15

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
