Listening to the Father’s Heart

Son, I am so pleased you are learning to “be” instead of “do”. It pleases me so much when we simply meet together without an agenda. I enjoy your company. So many of my kids seek my hand only instead of my face, my presence. All my kids have needs, and I am truly concerned with those needs. But coming into my presence will quiet your heart. It will change the way you view life’s circumstances. My son Moses came to understand this. He tried so hard to lead my people. He realized my presence was the only thing that provided him with the strength to carry on. Life is hard enough on its own. I am in your life to sustain you through the difficult waters. Let’s walk through this together. Because in my presence there is fullness of joy. It is a different kind of joy that sustains you through the trenches of your life.
