Listening to the Father’s Heart

Listening to the Father’s Heart

Son, no matter what evil comes against you, I will use it for my glory and my purposes. When Pharaoh attacked my children I used him to demonstrate my power and my glory. But one thing you must learn. There is a time to wait and a time to move. Things must come into alignment for my purposes to be accomplished. It is important for you to wait until the circumstances I am orchestrating in your life are at a place for me to cause a breakthrough. This is hard for you. You think you can affect the situation by taking some action. The best action right now is no action. I am working behind the scenes in this matter. Soon there will be a time when I will instruct you to move. That is why you must have a listening ear. Think of our relationship as though you were sitting at an intersection waiting for the stoplight to change. If you move before the light turns green, you will be killed by oncoming cars. However, when the light turns green, it is your signal that it is safe to move forward toward your destination. Like my children in the desert, you must learn to move only when the cloud of my presence moves.

Then I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, so that he will pursue them; and I will gain honor over Pharaoh and over all his army, that the Egyptians may know that I am the Lord. And they did so. Exodus 14:4

And the Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward.” Exodus 14:15
