Listening to the Father’s Heart

Listening to the Father’s Heart

Son, I created you to create. I made you in my own image. I am the great creator. My Son was a creator as well. “For by Him all things were created, through Him and for Him. And He is before all things and in Him all things consist” (Col. 1:16, 17). Work was created by me as another way of worshipping me and revealing my glory in and through my sons and daughters. Do you remember Bezalel? I told Moses to have him design my Ark of the Covenant. I knew he would do such a great job because I made him for assignments like that. I give my sons and daughters creative gifts and abilities to make a world that reveals my handiwork. Each of them was made for assignments that I specifically gifted them for.

See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship. Exodus 31:2, 3
