Listening To The Father’s Heart

Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, sharing truth with others without relationship leads to rejection. All my sons and daughters are wired for relationship. If you try to share my truth before there is a trusting relationship established, you may find your message rejected. This includes your own children. And remember that discipline without relationship leads to anger. People want to know that you care more than know what you know. They want friendship and connection. They long for unconditional acceptance and to be valued. These needs are ultimately met by me alone, but I am calling you to be a carrier of my affection for them. Always choose people over projects. You will always have your projects; you may not always have those close relationships.

So, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us. 1 Thessalonians 2:8

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Phil 3:3-6
