Listening To The Father’s Heart

Listening To The Father’s Heart

So many of my sons and daughters have hearts of stone. They were not born that way. Over time the enemy hardened their hearts by inflicting arrows of pain. Do you remember the wonderful story one of my sons wrote about a lion named Aslan in the land of Narnia? In the story, four of my children find that many of the inhabitants of Narnia have been turned into stone. They are alive, but dead. It’s the same with many of the people in your world. They live, but their hearts are actually frozen. I came, through my Son, to give life and to heal the broken-hearted. You are there to help bring that healing as you yourself heal. Together we will bring life back into hearts that have been hardened.

Hear my cry, O God; attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Psalm 61:1, 2

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26
