Listening to the Father’s Heart
When I think of you son, my heart leaps with joy. You were my idea before I ever made you into flesh and bones. There is not another like you in all the earth. Sometimes I know you think I abandoned you because of the things that touched your life. I was there, but I know it did not feel like I was. That is the consequence of giving man free will. I chose not to override man’s free will. There is much darkness on the earth because of that decision on my part. But, this was how it had to be. Stand firm in my love for you today. Know this: I will never leave you nor forsake you (Heb 13: 5). That is my covenant promise to you.
The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love. Zephaniah 3:17
