Son, my promises to my sons and daughters are trustworthy. A covenant promise is one that will be kept regardless of what the other party does. I will fulfill my covenant promise to you, just as I did with Abraham, no matter what you do. I told Abraham there would be four hundred years during which his people would be enslaved, but that afterwards, I would free them. That is exactly what I did. Abraham was with me in heaven when he saw that covenant promise fulfilled. Some of my promises will be fulfilled long after you are gone, son. Be still and take in the amazing significance of this powerful truth. I have called you to live a life of covenant with me, just as my Son is called to live His covenant promise to love His bride and never forsake her.

I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you. Genesis 28:15
