Listening To The Father’s Heart

Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, do you recall the first time I spoke audibly to my son, Moses? I told him to take off his sandals because he was on holy ground. My presence transformed a desert wasteland scattered with sheep and dung into a holy place. And in the same way, I make your daily work holy. I make even the most stressful, pressure-packed environment a place where my presence can shine. Let me remind you that I came to Moses during his work day. My presence is not dictated by a religious environment. I am with you always. I encourage you, son, to talk with me all throughout your day, not just in your quiet times. I am with you in your projects; I am with you in absolutely all you do. Listen to me throughout the day. I will reveal myself through your work, transforming it into a holy place. When you do your work unto me, you are doing even the most mundane activity as a holy work. And you will be rewarded for that.

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for[a] you serve the Lord Christ. Colossians 3:23, 24

Then He said, “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.” Exodus 3:5
