Listening to the Father’s Heart

Listening to the Father’s Heart

Son, each of my sons and daughters must experience their own personal cross in order to fulfill their destiny; there has to be a death before life can really be experienced. Betrayal is the tool that has often been a catalyst for this process. Even if you voluntarily go to the cross, it usually requires a third person to complete the process. For Jesus, it was Judas; for David, it was Absalom; for Joseph, it was his brothers. You must learn to wash the feet of the Judas’ in your life. That is how you learn true forgiveness. That is how death works life in you.

For it is not an enemy who reproaches me; then I could bear it. Nor is it one who hates me who has exalted himself against me; then I could hide. But it was you, a man my equal, my companion and my acquaintance. We took sweet counsel together, and walked to the house of God in the throng. Psalms 55:12-14

But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. Luke 6:27-29
