Listening To The Father’s Heart

Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, I realize waiting for the fulfillment of your hopes and dreams is difficult. Especially when you have doubts about whether I am going to come through for you. The only assurance you have is that I work all things together for good in your life (Rom 8:28). You truly would have lost heart a long time ago had I not sent messengers to encourage you through dark days. You can be sure that the end will be better than the former. I know it is hard to believe that right now. Abraham had to wait. Joseph had to wait. Moses had to wait. Esther had to wait. I do my deepest work in the waiting. I am all about doing the deeper work in you. Son, allow me to do this work. You will be pleased with the outcome. Your times are in my hand.

Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord! Psalms 27:14

I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Psalm 27:13

My times are in Your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me. Psalm 31:14-16
