Listening To The Father’s Heart

Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, rarely do I call a son or daughter to serve others until they can personally identify with the plight of those that I call them to serve. Such was the case with my son Paul who explained his calling in a similar way: “For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake, having the same conflict which you saw in me and now hear that I still have (Phil 1:29, 30). I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church, of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God ”(Col 1:24, 25). Both my son Paul and my Son Jesus gave themselves for others. I have called you to this walk, my son. As you become broken bread for others, you will see your own hunger satisfied in me.

Bread flour must be ground; therefore he does not thresh it forever, break it with his cartwheel, or crush it with his horsemen. Isaiah 28:28

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart—These, O God, You will not despise. Psalm 51:17
