Listening To The Father’s Heart

Listening To The Father’s Heart

Son, many people are satisfied just to know about me when they could actually know me personally. Many are satisfied to attend their local congregations each week, but they do not know me. Knowing about me does not get one into heaven with me. Even our enemy knows about me. Job thought he knew who I was, but he did not know me. So I took him through a process of understanding until there came a day when he could say he knew me because he saw me for who and what I am. This is the journey many must undertake to move from knowledge about me to relationship with me. You and I have been developing our relationship for some time. You realize that my greatest desire is for us to know each other intimately (Jer 9:23). I value these times in the morning. It is here that we can quietly commune with one another. I am with you all during your day, but these quiet times allow for more intimate times of relationship between us.

I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees You. Therefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes. Job 42:5-6

And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Matthew 7:23
