Listening to the Father’s Heart

Listening to the Father’s Heart

I made you uniquely you. I gave you your talents. I give all my kids unique gifts because that is how I care for their needs. Sports played an important role in your development. However, when you lost your identity to what you did, that caused some problems for you. I was there, but you were not ready for me to play a role in your life. That eventually led to a crisis, as it does for many. Disappointment and pain became the catalyst for you to seek me. The climax of that became the door to our first real introduction. You have been so faithful ever since. You have learned so much from your failures. And they will continue to help others. I know you hold in your heart a dream, something out of your reach that causes you pain. I wish I could reveal more to you about that. But, I cannot. Can you trust me for that dream? I know it is hard. And I know deep down you know I do have your best interest in mind even if it does not feel like it.

Be still and know that I am God. Ps 46:10
