Listening to the Father’s Heart

Listening to the Father’s Heart

Son, I speak to all of my sons and daughters differently. I speak to some through my creation. I speak to some through pictures and thoughts. I speak to others, like you, through my word and through your unique and special gift as a teacher. I use circumstances and other sons and daughters to encourage you. Do not compare yourself to others. I made you unique. I relate to you in a way that celebrates your uniqueness. My sheep do hear my voice (Jn. 10:27), but some of my sons and daughters have their frequencies clogged up with many worries and distractions. I love when you make time for us in these mornings. You sometimes wonder if I am really present or listening. I have told you I will never leave you or forsake you (Heb 13: 5). This will always be true. Here is a tip, son. Don’t try to hear my voice; just let it happen. I always speak to your spirit, not to your soul.

Cause me to hear your lovingkindness in the morning, for in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You. Ps 143:8
