Listening to the Father’s Heart

Listening to the Father’s Heart

It’s hard isn’t it, son? To love those who refuse your love and actually accuse you of the opposite. During your journey you have heard rightly, “Now you have truly felt the pain in my heart.” I have loved and loved and loved my sons and daughters. Yet, so many impugn my name, blaming me for what the enemy has done. You know in your heart how much you love those who simply can’t receive your love. It is a problem for me as well, because I cannot overrule a person’s free will. So, the prayers do help to bring pressure upon these individuals. But, ultimately they must choose to let love in again…to forgive and to trust you or me. Love can heal the deepest pain if we allow it to. Forgiveness, trust and vulnerability is the only way that love can heal the wounds.
He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes. 1 John 2:10-11
