Listening to the Father’s Heart

My desire for all my sons and daughters is that they love me with all of their heart. This would seem to be a simple request. I see that you have such a desire to love me and others. You do well, my son. However, there is so much that can hinder you from allowing your love to flow out. Sometimes your love can grow cold and can be replaced by activity or complacency. When those times happen I cause circumstances in your life to draw you back to me. I love you and desire you to seek me with all of your heart, not just part of your heart. That is when you really find me. That is when I reveal myself to you (Jn 14:21). That is a promise you can hold onto. I reveal more and more of myself to those who seek me with their whole heart.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Matt 22:37-39

And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jer 29:13
